Sweet Serendipity

The subtitle of this book, From Darkness into Light, is an appropriate descriptor of the overall theme of the book. The Great Depression was a dark time in our history and the O’Shea family of Middle Falls, Minnesota had a particularly difficult experience. That is the “darkness.”

 

However, out of this darkness emerges a story of perseverance, hope, and eventual goodness. That is the “light.” This is a story of good versus evil. Unlikely heroes face off against a conspiracy of despicable characters in an attempt to stop their evil practices and rescue their victims.
