When will we see a new book?

Sometimes, progress can seem awfully slow. I know that has been the case for me as I have worked to finish and publish my next two books, Swan Dive and Sweet Serendipity, From Darkness into Light. Let me explain. I had completed writing Sweet Serendipity before the idea for Swan Dive, came into my head.  However, I realized that the two books were completely different genres,

Like my first two books, Swan Dive fits into the cozy mystery genre. Cozy mysteries are medium-length stories with a limited amount of violence, profanity, and sex. I like to compare the genre to PG-13 movies. Just naughty enough to be interesting.

On the other hand, Sweet Serendipity, From Darkness into Light, is less a mystery and more like a crime novel that also addresses societal ills.

I decided to publish Swan before Sweet because I thought genre continuity was more important than publishing multiple books in short order.

I now expect Swan Dive to be out in the July time frame and Sweet Serendipity’s release around e September - October.
